Talk About Learning: Working Alongside Teachers

Section One provides a theory and research-informed set of papers on various aspects of the adviser/facilitator role. Together, these offer practical frameworks to aid conceptualisation of the design, delivery and evaluation of professional development activities, including reflexive evaluation of the in-service educator's role. The Section Two exemplars or cases provide authentic accounts of how working in-service educators have addressed challenging work situations in a variety of institutional and curriculum contexts, over varying periods of time. The cases are similar enough to most advisers experiences for them to recognise themselves and learn from the stories told in the chapters.
