The Legend of Dragonfly Pond: Volume One

"The Legend Of Dragonfly Pond ~ Volume One" consists of four stories: Wings And The Christmas Rescue, Wings In The Wetlands, Wings And The Secret Tunnel, and Wings Visits Bird Town. In Wings And The Christmas Rescue, a new dragonfly appears at Dragonfly Pond. They name him Wings. One day, Pond Frog is swept away by Blue Heron of Critters Pond. Wings asks the Dragonfly Kids to help, as North Wind brings the first winter snowstorm. Meanwhile, a ghost-like figure watches from Evergreen Forest. Will they be able to rescue Pond Frog, or need rescuing themselves? In Wings In The Wetlands, Wings must fly past Ugly Place to visit Grandmother Dragonfly. She tells him to see what is beyond the briars, so he does. While there, he is welcomed by a duck, meets Tippy Raccoon, and flies into Christmas Meadow. He's chased by Armond Armadillo and sees Blue Heron again! Will Armond Armadillo or Blue Heron capture Wings? In Wings And The Secret Tunnel, Grandfather Dragonfly hears Wings say he is going to the Secret Tunnel. Although he asks many critters, they don't know where it is. Wings doesn't give up. Instead, he sees a duck who says the tunnel is haunted. Then he finds Dark Dragonfly, who flew above resting geese in the wetlands, and knows where the tunnel is. But will Wings be afraid to go in? In Wings Visits Bird Town, a mallard leads him to Bird Town. He meets a bird in The Briars, finds Mrs. Robin, and flies to Fossil Forest. He visits Critters Pond, flies with a hummingbird, finds a butterfly garden and sees the ghost-like figure in Briar Woods. But what is the biggest surprise at the end of his journey?
