Prior to his 13 years of employment by Oakland, he was a working electrician for ten years. After retirement he became a traveling electrical code instructor and has conducted classes and safety audits at government, military, and industrial facilities around the country, as well as training for electrical contractors and inspectors. He currently resides in Philadelphia. Douglas Hansen has been in the construction industry for over 50 years. He is a licensed general contractor and also holds numerous inspector certifications.
