About the Book

Find properties at 30 to 50 percent below market value! In "Creating Wealth through Probate", real estate expert and millionaire James G. Banks uncovers a huge source of profits most investors overlook - properties and other assets in probate. This is the first and only book that outlines a proven system for buying real estate and other assets - classic cars, antiques, art, even businesses - at 30 to 50 percent below market value through probate. With more than $3 trillion dollars worth of assets in probate, the opportunity is huge. Investing in probate property is the only legal way to buy assets that have never been listed in print or otherwise "exposed to the public," so competition is slim. Investing in real estate through probate is the best-kept secret in real estate investing and offers opportunities for all types of investors on all types of properties, including single-family homes, duplexes, condominiums, farms, office buildings, and other types of commercial properties. These bargains exist as part of estates that are in probate. Investors who acquire properties that are part of someone's estate not only realize huge profits, but also help beneficiaries settle estates and maximize the value of their assets. With almost six million probates and over $3 trillion in assets, probate presents more opportunities than any other investment vehicle. In "Creating Wealth through Probate", Jim Banks shares more than 30 years of expertise and his ultimate "buy low, sell high" investing strategy and system. Would-be probate investors will learn: the nature, purpose, and process of probate - and how to "mine" it for bargain-basement prices; why it benefits heirs when investors purchase property from the estate, thus creating a "buyer's market"; a step-by-step process for buying real estate and personal property for pennies on the dollar - before the general public ever hears about it; and how to buy antiques before antique dealers find out about them. Covering all the bases, this comprehensive how-to includes worksheets, case studies, bargain hunting in personal property investments, and sample probate notices from all 50 states and Washington, D.C. This is the first and definitive guide to investing in probate, written by the nation's foremost expert.

About the Author :
James G. Banks specialized in probate investing after selling his first probate property investment 30 years ago for a net profit of $57,500. After this initial success, he attended law school in Los Angeles to learn everything about probate. He has also been an active real estate broker for over 20 years. By combining his understanding of how probate works with his background in law and real estate, Banks has developed probate investments into a business with unlimited potential. He continues as the nation's only active speaker on probate investing. Since 1983, he has presented workshops for every major real estate organization.
