About the Book

These are stories that are from the mind of Bill Satellite. The stories are told by Bill in his own way and manner. He is an old-timer who loves to tell the tales. Bill tells stories which are either true or false. Believe him or not, it is up to you the reader. The idea of this book is simple. It is so simple in fact; it just reminds us that we can be sucked into anything that we can so be persuaded. There is only one reminder and that is to think and think hard. You as the reader will need to understand what you have read and what you are reading. You need to learn how to read between the lines. You need to read between the lines because this is the only way to tell the difference between true or false. In life, we know what is real and what is surreal. We should understand them both. If we understand both real and surreal, then we know the difference, or do we? You will find out as the reader that Bill can come up with life's little treasures. Bill can also come up with life's toilet bowls. Good or bad, Bill will tell you like it is. Be assured that you will be put to your limits when you read the stories from the mind of Bill Satellite. He will give to you a little bit of insight and maybe a little bit of hogwash. He will challenge you as the reader to figure whether a story is insight or just hogwash. He will tell stories that would make your eyes leak and or make your sides split. They will make you think though. Life is not always black and white. In some cases and maybe in most, there is gray. We in most part don't see it so clearly. So go on and read along and don't hesitate to ask the question; what if? You know that Bill did. That is the fun thing about these stories, is it believable or do you just shrug it off as hogwash told by an old geezer.

About the Author :
William Brett Starr was born in the small town of Selma California on a cold January day to William and Martha Starr. He was the fifth of five children. He had an up bringing just like any other young tot in that small quaint town. Brett always boasted the fact that he was born and raised in Selma. That was a true statement in every aspect. William or Brett as his father decided that would suit him best, had a normal childhood and a loving environment to live in. His parents saw to it that he was able to have what he needed and that included all of the Starr kids. As Brett grew older and his imagination grew along with him, he started to become more of a loner. Brett was a loner, maybe by coincidence or maybe by his own design. This was not a design that was of a conscience choice but a choice of keeping him-self from being hurt. He was not much of a conversationalist and more of an introvert. His shyness prevented him to become more involved in school activities. Brett buried himself in work and this was at a young age. He was fourteen when he had started his first job at one of the local restaurants in town. He didn't stop, even through school. As far as education was concerned, Brett's education was filled with high hopes and far out dreams. He dreamt of becoming what everybody else wanted. You see, Brett was one person, especially in his earlier days, a follower of sorts. He was on the band wagon on every subject that came into view. No one really knew the real story behind the mask that this one person wore day in and day out. He was so good in hiding his true feelings, he was literally tongue tied when it came to the items of the heart. Brett was not a hard person nor was he some one who you could not talk to. He was a giving and sill is a giving man. He doesn't ask for anything in return except for the indulgence of the other person's love and respect. In other words, Brett would give to you the shirt off his back if you seemed to need it more than he. Brett has been married once which lasted for fourteen years. The marriage ended in a divorce. The two most important things came out of that marriage are his two daughters, Trisha and Jennifer. They are and maybe will always be the biggest driving forces behind him until the marriage to his second wife and she will be his last. Pamela stands behind Brett in all that he does and he does the same for her. This can be said for the rest of his family too. Brett's parents have been behind him through thick and thin no matter the circumstances. Let's just say that Brett is surrounded by family and a lot of loyal friends. His friends have always been the types that would stand up for their friend if needed. I guess that you could sum up William Brett Starr as a person that writes what he knows and knows what to write. His main inspirations come from his love of the strange and macabre. The fact is this, Brett loved the horror movies and T.V. shows that glorify that type of genre. This was odd because of his Christian up-bringing. He believes that he can split the personas as you would say, and keep his faith and still give the readers the type of stories that would make you think truth or HOGWASH.
