About the Book

Three armies march on New Prentisstown, each one intent on destroying the others. Todd and Viola are caught in the middle, with no chance of escape. As the battles commence, how can they hope to stop the fighting? How can there ever be peace when they're so hopelessly outnumbered? And if war makes monsters of men, what terrible choices await? But then a third voice breaks into the battle, one bent on revenge…The electrifying finale to the award-winning Chaos Walking trilogy, Monsters of Men is a heart-stopping novel about power, survival and the devastating realities of war. This new edition contains a bonus short story, Snowscape. Set shortly after the events of Monsters of Men, this gripping story reveals sensational new truths about Todd and Viola's world and the future of the New World.

Review :
My god, there is so much to love about the remarkable Patrick Ness! Where to begin? His beautiful prose? That electrifying originality? Those multifaceted, real-to-the-bone characters? How about the way he explores the messy complexities of the human experience in stories that make us feel seen and known and also forgiven? Above all, there is this: Patrick’s deep, ferocious respect for young readers. He believes they can change the world, and it comes through in every single word. An epic journey through both a SF world of extraordinary imagination and an emotional landscape of gripping intensity. Intelligent, compelling and utterly devastating, CHAOS WALKING is one of the seminal YA series of this century. No-one gets you in the Feels like Patrick Ness. The Chaos Walking books are a touchstone for powerful young adult literature. Inventive, gut-wrenching, and all-consuming, this is an unforgettable coming-of-age reading experience. In a world full of Noise, the CHAOS WALKING trilogy delivers a razor-sharp take on humanity and morality even more relevant now than when it was first published. As young people today watch the gender gap widen and divide them, Patrick Ness takes a stab at what brings us all together, no matter what planet we live on.
