About the Author :
Joe Tidd is a Professor of Technology and Innovation Management in the Science Policy Research Unit (SPRU) of the University of Sussex Business School and a visiting Professor at University College London. He was Director of the Executive MBA Program at Imperial College London and co-creator of the Imperial Distance Learning MBA. He is the author of nine books and more than 100 papers on the management of technology and innovation, and the founder and Managing Editor of the International Journal of Innovation Management. John R. Bessant is Emeritus Professor of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the University of Exeter and has visiting appointments at the University of Stavanger (Norway) and Friedrich-Alexander University (Germany). Active in the field of research and consultancy in technology and innovation management for over 40 years, he has served as an advisor to a wide range of companies and international bodies, including the United Nations, The World Bank, and the OECD. He is the author of 40 books and monographs and numerous articles published in leading journals.
