About the Author :
Michalla Brianna is a Clinical Mental Health Counselor, Expressive Arts Therapy Intern, HeartMath Therapist, Meditation Practitioner, Certified Traditional Usui Reiki Practitioner, and Life Purpose Coach, located in sunny Florida and mountainous North Carolina. Michalla obtained her Level One & Two Certifications in Expressive Arts from Expressive Arts Florida Institute and has applied for her REAT through IEATA. Michalla also earned her Level One & Two Certifications in Gottman Method Couples Therapy from The Gottman Institute. Michalla is currently enrolled in a three year program for Bards (2023), Ovates (2024) And Druids (2025), and is a member of their Mental Health Professionals Group. She is also exploring a Shamanic Apprenticeship in order to expand her multicultural counseling skills and holistic knowledge. Michalla is studying at the Deepak Chopra Institute for additional Coaching and Meditation certifications. In addition to holistic healing, Michalla is an author, the founder and former CEO of A Home 4 Art, and the creator of The Healing Arts, LLC and Barrie Patch Books. She is an online course creator, and a game designer for youth. She is a former Disney entertainer, robot handler, voice-over actress, commercial model, party planner, professional singer, and foster care worker. Michalla Brianna advocates for holistic healing and mental health via various platforms. She has been featured in Inspiring Lives Magazine, on the Kind Army Podcast, on The Fierce Women Project, on Episode 2 of The CoLab Series with Kristen Kish, in the May 2022 issue of Transformation Coaching Magazine, on episode 9 for the In The Flow Streaming Platform, and various local news and radio sources for her current work and aspirations. Michalla recently partnered with Kerri Zane Enterprises where she is collaborating Pitch Pilots as a hopeful Executive Producer and Host for shows that advocate for Healing, Mental Health, and the Arts. Michalla holds a bachelor's degree in both Human Developmental Psychology and Creative Writing from Eckerd College, as well as a master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of the Cumberland where she became part of Chi Sigma Iota. Michalla is currently working on completing her second master's in Creative Literature from Harvard Extension University and hopes to obtain a third master's in Eastern Western Psychology from CIIS, and her PhD in Expressive Therapies from Lesley University in the future.
