Review :
A revised and thoughtful return to the foundations of theatre. Veenstra adds new life to Cohen’s 2010 illustration of a life built in the theatre with new case studies, relevant stories from working artists, and a welcome understanding of the digital age’s influence on our theatrical world … Cohen’s lengthy experience as a director, actor, and educator is welcomed into the modern day with Veenstra’s careful pruning and added insight, creating an invaluable read for stage managers and production teams everywhere. A fresh, contemporary, and necessary look at how we lead.
