Refer to the porcelain and glove trades of Wor-cester, and describe the hop-gardens and apple and pear orchards of the Vale of Worcester. (c) After noticing the Malvernt, with their mineral springs, pro-ceed to Tewkesbury, and trace the 'Greater Avon, ' past Warwick and Leamington, to Coventry. (d) Point out the irregular windings of the Severn as it passes through Gloucestershire, and describe briefly Dean Forest, with its coal-field, shutting in the valley on the right, and the Cotswold Hills on the left. Pass on by Gloucester; and notice the cloth manufacture along the Cotswold range;and C-pstow, at the mouth of the Wye. A large blank map of the Severn basin, having only the hills and boun-daries of the counties marked, should now be put before the class. Teacher will also en-deavour to educe the useful purposes which the river serves to the districts through which it flows. The heads of the les-son will be somewhat ex-tended, and placed on blackboard as a short summary of the lesson. Recapitulate by ex-amination. OUTLINE NOTES OF FOUR LESSONS FOR STANDARD...
