A peculiar Homeric form is nenoode, as second person plural of the perfect. Xleidu, " I persuade," proceeds regularly in the active, but forms, besides the first aorist ineiaa, a second aorist, lnidov (with the epic reduplication niniBov), and likewise an epic future, nsrnBijau.
