Der neueste Pariser Rock ist noch immer der Preussische Uniformsrock, doch mit mancherlei Abweichungen. Statt Knopfen tragt man vielfach Stucke Blech, Pfeifendeckel: c. oder man hat Bandschleifen und schnurt damit den Rock zu. Als Halsbinden sind am beliebtesten zwei aneinander genahte Strumpfe oder eine Leibbinde. Ueber den Rock zieht man hausig als Seelenwarmer einen Frauenunterrock oder einen Franzosischen Bauernkittel. Als Beinbekleidung sieht man am haufigsten die graue Tuchhose, doch auch oft die Drillichhose, unter welcher dann stets eine alte Tuchhose ihr zerrissenes Dasein schamhaft verbirgt. Fussbekleidung sind alle Sorten Stiefel, von den grossten Wasserstiefeln bis zu den feinsten Lack-und Zeug-Stiefelchen. So sehen die diesjahrigen Fruhjahrsmoden aus. XXVII. Virns-?, den 18.
