THE following list includes the names of persons who entered the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the fall of 1880 as first-year students, and who remained at least until the end of the first term. It includes also persons who joined the Class at some later date with advanced standing, and certain others who, having entered earlier, took a considerable proportion of their work with the Class. Some of those who entered with the Class took their degrees later than 1884, and may therefore have become associated with other classes as well as with our own.
