Excerpt: ... EVENING EXERCISES. A crowded audience assembled in the evening, and the exercises were opened with singing by the choir, and prayer by Rev. Arthur Potts, of Little Falls. The following Introductory Remarks were made by Rev. Dr. Hudson, pastor, of the church. If I were to make an address to-night, which I do not propose to do, I should speak to you about "our representatives" and by "our representatives " I mean the members of this church on earth and in heaven. In this roll of membership, I find the names of fifty-one clergymen, and of twelve foreign missionaries, namely: Samuel W. Brace, D. D., Edward Robinson, D. D., LL. D., Salmon Strong, George F. King, Hiram H. Kellogg, Asahel Grant, M. D., Nestorians; Bilious Pond, George W. Thompson, Joel E. Bradley, Eleazar S. Barrows, John Gridley, Wayne Gridley, Samuel W. Raymond, M. D., Theodore B. Lyman, D. D., William G. Hubbard, George W. Gridley, Benjamin W. Dwight, LL. D., Dwight E. Lyman, John N. Powell, A. Delos Gridley, D. D., Frank F, Ellinwood, D. D., Eurotas P.
