Seguendo noi religiosamente questo suo parere, che oltre l' autorita sua propria vien da esso discorso con diligenza e forza di ragioni ( come si e in opera teste uscita alla luce dottamente provato ), noi diciamo che il dire che la lingua nostra non posa in nessuna Citta d'Italia e per tutte egualmente discorre, non vieta l'asserire che sebbene non posi nelle Citta di Toscana e specialmente in Firenze, e pero in Firenze principalmente ed in altre Citta di Toscana che tiene essa il principalissimo suo seggio. Imperocche e Firenze e le altre Citta di Toscana posseggono un favellare di gran lunga piu culto e piu gentile di tutte le al Ire Citta dell' Italia. E se tra i dialetti di Grecia portano sugli altri il vanto quei della Jonia e dell' Attica, ragion vuole che si conc...
