Das Absolute ist das Wesen.--Diese Desinition ist in sosern dieselbe als die, dass es das Seyn ist, in sosern Seyn gleichsalls die einsache Beziehung aus sich ist; aber sie ist zugleich hoher, weil das Wesen das in sich gegangene Seyn ist, d. i. seine einsache Beziehung aus sich ist diese Beziehung gesetzt als die Negation des Negativen, als Vermittlung seiner in sich mit sich selbst.--Indem das Absolute als Wesen bestimmt wird, wird aber die Negativitat hausig nur in dem Sinne einer Abstraktion von allen bestimmten Pradikaten genommen. Dieses negative Thun, das Abstrahiren, sallt dann ausserhalb des Wesens, und das Wesen selbst ist so nur als ein Resultat ohne diese seine Pramifse, das o-put morruuw der Abstraktion.
