Excerpt: A (Slightly) Less Normal Life takes place during 1501 AES and chronicles the everyday lives of Ditto Town's citizens. A mobile island-city that cruises the seas of Dittotopia, content to remain aloof of the affairs of the rest of the world. In the year 850 AES, fifteen biomechanical beings from Aqua Magna were transported to an island on Dittotopia during a Great Cataclysm on their world. These beings were called Matoran. Finding that they were alone on the island, they began to modify it, turning the island into a great ship in which they could explore the new world they found themselves on. They found the secondary continent, and met the locals, who informed them of the planet's name: Dittotopia. The Matoran named their island Ditto Metru, in memory of their homeland. After a time, they continued on their sea-bound tour of the planet. Two centuries later, Ditto Metru was attacked by a pirate fleet. Terribly outnumbered, the Matoran sealed themselves into stasis pods they kept hidden in a cavern. Thus...
