Excerpt: Halak Drev was a Krogan Blood Pack mercenary. He was hired by the Shadow Broker from inside the Blood Pack to gather data and send it to him. Making modest amounts of money Drev continued until discovered and nearly killed by his higher ranking brother, Halak Mer. The Shadow Broker aware of his agent's threatened life sent a squad of hired Asari to help Drev. With Drev in debt to the Shadow Broker he instructed him to kill the information broker, Ferolk Amanesu to repay what he owed to him. Drev accepted the job and went to Illium where he charged Amanesu but was killed by a shot to the head with a Predator Heavy Pistol ending the young Krogan's life.
