Caldera is a small ebony mining town located on the island of Vvardenfell in the province of Morrowind. It is an Imperial controlled city, with representatives of the East Empire Company, soldiers of the Imperial Legion, and a few members of House Hlaalu in the Governor's Hall overlooking the town. The town's ebony mine is located close by and is owned by House Hlaalu. The town is perhaps best known for being the location of Creeper, a scamp merchant, who, with 5000 drakes, has more money than anyone in Vvardenfell other than the talking mudcrab and an Ashlander merchant.
