Excerpt: Taurus Model 44 in reality. The Taurus Model 44 is a .44 magnum double action revolver made by the Brazilian Taurus International firearm company. It holds six rounds in its cylinder. The Taurus Model 44 was confirmed as the "T44" by EA in a four page fact sheet. It is available in the Battlefield 3 Beta, and is known in-game as the .44 Magnum. It has moderately high power, accuracy, and recoil, with a medium-low firerate and sharp, easy to use ironsights. It has a 6-round capacity, and reloads with a speedloader. In the Battlelog beta there is another weapon called the .44 M-Scoped. The official Battlefield site says that it has a 3x scope. It's ideal for use in maps ranging from medium to large sizes. If a recon stays in one spot for too long, the lens will give off a very noticeable glint which will give away the position of the player.
