Excerpt: Adelle was a German shepherd that appeared in a short story called 'The Dog of Flames', he had served during a war with a young boy, Kokichi Takuman. Adelle, however, was locked inside of a barn with Hakuryu and many other dogs. The barn was then set on fire and he died when he tried to jump back to join his owners. Aka was one of the hunting dogs owned by Takeda Gohei, and is the son of Riki. In the beginning of the story, Aka follows his owner to the mountains with Riki and Don on an expedition. However, the hunting party gets ambushed by the terrifying bear Akakabuto and Aka was killed during a fight.
