Excerpt: The Advanced Idea Mechanics (or AIM) is an organization in the Marvel universe dedicated to using science for evil purposes. They create super-weapons, which they sell to crime bosses, dictators, supervillains, or terrorist organizations such as HYDRA. AIM is responsible for the creation of M.O.D.O.K., who transcended his state as simply a living computer to become AIM's leader. AIM also created the Cosmic Cube, a reality-warping weapon which is much sought after in the Marvel universe. Zante met with the young Human Torch, telling him that the rest of the Fantastic Four were taking credit for his accomplishments and exploiting him.
