They create super-weapons, which they sell to crime bosses, dictators, supervillains, or terrorist organizations such as HYDRA. AIM is responsible for the creation of M.O.D.O.K., who transcended his state as simply a living computer to become AIM's leader. AIM also created the Cosmic Cube, a reality-warping weapon which is much sought after in the Marvel universe.
