Excerpt: Altered Reality is an annual professional e-wrestling pay-per-view produced by Lords of Pain Wrestling (LPW) (formerly known as the Psychotic Wrestling Alliance). It is considered the flagship pay-per-view event of LPW, due to being the only pay-per-view of the season that features talent from both of the promotion's two distinct brands, Insanity and Pyromania. The event was first produced in 2004, and five events have been produced as of 2010. Since its inception, the pay-per-view concept showcases wrestlers from the Insanity and Pyromania brands battling against each other in a series of matches to determine who is the superior brand of the season.
