Excerpt: The Kanohi Ahn is the Great Mask of Reinforcement. It gives its' user the powers of Kindred, Reanimation, and Summoning. The powers could be activated simultaneously or separately. The Ahn is theoretically worn by the Toa Mahri Kaita Makonhah, but he has never been formed. Thus, it is believed that an Ahn has likely never existed in the Matoran Universe. The Kanohi Akaku is the Mask of X-Ray Vision, sometimes called the Mask of Vision. It allows its user to see through solid objects and structures. Kanohi Akaku are commonly fitted with telescopic lenses to give their users enhanced vision. On Metru Nui, Kanohi Akaku are crafted from Kanoka of Regeneration and Teleportation. Tahu used a Great Kanohi Akaku to examine his surroundings while underground in Tale of the Toa. The Akaku Nuva is the Kanohi Nuva Mask of X-Ray Vision, created when a destined Kanohi Akaku is dipped in Energized Protodermis.
