Excerpt: Ankoro is a gigantic anglerfish under the command of captain Vander Decken IX, residing in the Underworld of the Sea, 7000 meters underneath the ocean surface. Wadatsumi seems to regard Ankoro as a pet, as apparently Ankoro has needed to be told to "not to eat ships" before. It tried to eat the Straw Hat Pirates and their ship, the Thousand Sunny, but was stopped by Wadatsumi. Ankoro was later seen again when Vander Decken IX was talking to Wadatsumi about Shirahoshi. Aobire is a yagara bull from Water 7. He is the main focus of a filler episode in the anime. Aobire is a very old yagara bull, at over 100 years of age. He has grown a small bushy beard and a pair of bushy eyebrows. Both of these have gone white through aging. His most distinguishable feature is his blue dorsal fin for which he was named. Bacura ( Bakyura) is a black panther owned by the Kuja Pirates under Boa Hancock. He is said to be the executioner of the Kuja tribe, and has been serving for them for generations.
