She died in 620 after falling into the Fastheld River and drowning. They had no children. Abon is the eldest of five siblings. His father Abon II worked at the palace as Quarrymaster until his death in 617. Abon took over rule of the families holdings, including several mines and the family Keep, Blackrock Heights. He is a childhood friend of Emperor Talus Kahar XIV. They spent numerous hours running amok in the palace and grounds. When he was twelve, a game of Swords and Shadow went terribly wrong and Abon was injured after a fall down the stairs in the Imperial Residence. He has walked with a limp ever since.
