Diego Carlo was the referee and allowed the Shinpaku alliance to participate after they snuck in (and ruined his show). During the semifinal battles, the army lands on Despair Island and raids it, putting a stop to the fighting tournament, making Kenichi's victory over Sh relatively anonymous for the world, and depriving Ryozanpaku of the millions of prize money. The teams consist of anywhere from 1-5 members on each team. Usually the matches are one on one, but can be a team battle royale at Diego's decision.
