Excerpt: Acks are larger versions of Toothberries found in Donkey Kong Country Returns. However, unlike the Toothberry (which is colored blue), the Ack is colored yellow. They never show up by themselves: instead, they travel in groups of five called Ackstacks. They require at least two jumps to defeat. They are only encountered in the Ruins. Acks will try to bite you. They will bend back, as if confused, and then lunge. You must roll out of the way at the last moment so that they will miss and they will bite the ground. Then you can jump on them. Awks are blue, flightless birds that appear in Donkey Kong Country Returns. Awks are some of the most basic enemies in the game.
