"It's not every day that we get to meet... a new member of the family....." -Paxton Fettel The nameless and genderless 3rd Child is the illegitimate child Alma Wade conceived with Sergeant Michael Becket. It is conceived in F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin when Alma traps Becket in a hallucination (using a psychic bond she establishes), where he fights off phantoms of Harold Keegan. Alma then proceeds to violently rape him while he's busy fighting the "hallucination-battle." When Becket finally breaks free of the vision, the device he is sealed in is unshielded by Alma; who reveals herself to be pregnant. She takes his hand and places it calmly on her stomach to show that the child is Becket's, and the baby; who has a small voice, whispers "Mommy." No details of the child's physical appearance, affiliation or abilities are revealed in F.E.A.R. 3., as the child is always concealed by blankets.
