This mask power could detect beings, but could not identify details about the target. The powers of this mask also allowed its user to perceive Huna and Volitak users and see through illusions. An Arthron is always on at a low level. In BIONICLE Legends 8: Downfall, Toa Jaller's Arthron detected the Piraka in advance in the Cord, but couldn't clearly see them until they moved closer to attack. The Barraki were an alliance of warlords. Once leaders of The League of Six Kingdoms, later banished to the Pit, whom later escaped, then seeked the Mask of Life. They have since evactuated to Spherus Magna. The League of Six Kingdoms was originally created by Mata Nui as a more effective way to keep peace, but they turned on him, and attempted to seize power for themselves. During their time as warlords, the Barraki conquered many lands, and made an alliance with Xia. The six Barraki each led their own army, but overall command was Pridak's. Smaller units were called legions. One such type of legion was a Matoran Rear Guard Unit, which consisted of 53 Matoran. The only reference to one was one destroyed by Pridak's command. Battle leaders were also present throughout Barraki armies.
