Excerpt: Lauren and Scott. Scott Shelby This chapter starts with Scott asleep at his desk. After some time, Lauren then arrives, much to Shelby's surprise. She then says she remembered something, a letter that was sent the morning of her son's disappearance. She still has the envelope and gives it to Scott. Lauren then asks to join his investigation. Scott initially refuses, at which she takes back the envelope, intending to keep it unless Scott agrees. Scott eventually concedes, and Lauren returns the envelope. When Lauren arrives, Scott can offer her a drink. If the player does so, they will have to go to the kitchen and get a glass from a cupboard. Due to a rare glitch, this may not be possible. If this occurs, the game may need an update. If you didn't save Lauren from Troy in the chapter "Sleazy Place," Lauren will enter with a black eye. Then Scott asks what happened to it, but Lauren says nothing important. Ann Sheppard, the mother of John Sheppard, the Origami Killer, suffers from Alzheimer's disease and is a key aspect of this chapter. The chapter begins with Madison entering a hospital to meet John Sheppard's mother, Ann Sheppard, to find out who his twin brother is. After talking with the receptionist, she is directed to Ann's room at the end of the hallway. Whe...
