Excerpt: The Argyre clan was a Martian clan of the Ice Warriors race. One of the clan's leaders was Marshal Kyruul. After his death, he was buried in a tomb in the sands of Mare Sirenum in a place known as the Fields of the Dead. By the latter half of the 20th century, Argyre had not adopted the sleeker bio-armour that most of the Martian clans wore by that time. In the year 1997, the clan was led by Lord Xznaal, who collaborated with British Science Minister Greyhaven to use the Mars mission to bring his clan to Earth. As an act of deception, he claimed that Great Britain was subject to the rule of the Argyre clan and its lord under Martian law. When Xznaal was crowned King of England, clan members began to enforce its rule in the United Kingdom with the support of their warship. Once in control, they created death camps for their human slaves and began experimening on the prisoners and manufacturing the Red Death to kill The Doctor.
