Excerpt: Ang was a male Starfleet officer in the early 24th century. As a Lieutenant in the 2330s, he served aboard the USS Stargazer under Captain Daithan Ruhalter and chief of security Gilaad Ben Zoma. When Ruhalter was killed and first officer Commander Stephen Leach incapacitated in 2333, Ang was made acting chief of security, when acting captain Jean-Luc Picard made Ben Zoma his acting executive officer. (SGR novel: The Valiant) Shortly afterward, while the Stargazer was at Starbase 32, Ang transferred to the USS Sutherland, taking the position of second officer aboard that vessel. (SGR novel: Gauntlet) Ang was a Starfleet officer in the 24th century. During the 2370s, Ang held the rank of Lieutenant, and served as chief of security aboard the USS Timur. Ang was killed in 2374 at the First Battle of Chin'toka during the Dominion War, and was succeeded by Lieutenant Jasminder Choudhury.
