Excerpt: The Ibanez 2670RE Artwood Twin is a 12/6-string double neck guitar model and a 2006 reissue of the classic Ibanez 2670 produced from 1975 thru 1980. The 2006 Artwood Twin was hand made in Japan and was recreated using the orignal blueprints and specifications. The only specification has been changed: the original Super 70 pickups have been replaced with Super 58 pickups. Only 45 of these reissues were made and each model was numbered 1 of 45, 2 of 45, etc. The 4670RE was revealed at the 2006 Summer NAMM Show. It is the second classic reissue in line: the first one was the BWM1 Bob Weir Cowboy Fancy model in 2005. Another one would follow in 2007: the AR5000RE. The Ibanez ARC100 is a ARC model, a single cut version of the original Ibanez Artist guitars. The Ibanez ARC300 is a ARC model, a single cut version of the original Ibanez Artist guitars.
