Excerpt: The .357 magnum revolver is a weapon in Fallout: New Vegas. The .357 magnum revolver is a single action, fixed-cylinder revolver. It has an average firing rate, but makes up for it by being semi-powerful. Due to the gun having a fixed cylinder it is reloaded one round at a time. However, reloading can be interrupted between rounds. Because of this, it gives the gun the added advantage of being quickly available to fire again if only a single/few rounds are needed. The iron sights are low to the gun with hardly any protrusion and thus are suited more to close range combat than anything else.
