It is home to the Hea Tumerok, one of the two Tumerok tribes, and because of the old rivalry, the inhabitants are not too friendly towards the Aun Tumerok. A broken Advocate Spire lies in the middle of the village. Most portals to and from Ahurenga were destroyed by Asheron's foray into opening a portal to the lost Empyreans in the Shifting Gears event. However, the outposts and advocate spires were destroyed by Martine long ago. The town is now scarcely populated, as there are few unique NPCs here, and quicker routes have opened up to the Gharu'ndim master mage, such as Xarabydun. The A'mun Desert is a hostile place, reminiscent of the trackless Naqut on Ispar. The dunes stretch beneath the sweltering sun for mile upon mile, with little water or hope of shelter.
