Vierzig in Trauer gekleidete Romer zogen den Trauelwagen zum Beweis ihrer Liebe und Verehrung gegen die Verstorbene. Langsam ging der Trauerzug uber den Corso; sein Pomp sprach fur den hohen Rang der Furstin, die Thcilnahme der Menge geruhrl, r Herze- zeugte fur ihren Charakter und fur ihre Tugenden. Als der Leichenwagen den Palast Ruspoli erreichte, wulden von allen Seiten Kranze uno Blumenstrausse auf den Sarg geworfen, uberall wurde: - die Fenster geoffnet und brennende Lichter ausgestellt. Alle Armen, welche von der Furstin eine Wohlthal genossen (und ihle Zahl war Legion) begleiteten die Woblthaterin zu St. Maria Maggiore. Vom..."
