W 1998 roku impreza zgromadzi a 18 tys. fanow, w 1999 - 20 tys., a w 2000 - 22 tys. Z czasem festiwal Mayday zyska status ideologii i stylu ycia, a nie tylko jednorazowego dorocznego wydarzenia.
