He bought the Martin Spaulding farm, at 253, in 1891, but d. there, soon after, March 4, 1893. His body was the first which was laid in the tomb which had recently been presented to the town by C. F. Wilson, Esq., of Keene, formerly of S. His body was subsequently moved to Pennsylvania. His wife was a woman of German stock, named Marie Anne Swartz, dau. of David Swartz of Altoona, I'a.
