Extracto: Rise Against es una banda estadounidense de Hardcore punk proveniente de Chicago, Illinois y formada en 1999. Actualmente los miembros son Tim McIlrath (voz principal, guitarra ritmica), Zach Blair (guitarra lider, coros), Joe Principe (bajo, coros) y Brandon Barnes (bateria, percusion). Rise Against paso los primeros cinco anos de actividad con un contrato con el sello discografico independiente Fat Wreck Chords, con quienes editaron dos albumes, The Unraveling (2001) y Revolutions per Minute (2003).
