He was educated at the private schools of Norfolk, and at the Virginia Military Insti tute in Lexington, from which in 1889 he entered the University of V irginia, where he remained for two sessions, being graduated therefrom with the degree of Bachelor of Law in 1891. After leaving the University he returned to Norfolk for the practice of his profession, and formed a partnership with Colonel Walter H. Taylor, which firm still continues. He is a member of the Norfolk Bar Association, the Virginia Bar Association, the Virginia Club, the Country Club, and other social organizations. In politics he is a Democrat. ()n the 22nd of November, 1899, he married Miss Nannie Charlotte Ramsey. WILSON, Wharton Otey, 1869 Lawyer. Final Tear, 1893; Law. Wharton Otey Wilson was born July 9, i8f9. at Huntsville, Alabama, the son of Robert H. Wilson and Susan C. Wharton. His father's people were descended from the Scotch-Irish, and his mother's from the English settlers. He attended a private school in Huntsville, Alabama, taught by Professor C. O. Shepherd, and afterwards attended the Boy's High School at Atlanta, Georgia. From this school he went to the University of Virginia, where he studied from 1889 till 181J3. In this last year, upon leaving the University, he was admitted to the Bar of Atlanta, where he has practiced his profession ever since. He is a Democrat, but has never held public office. He is a member of Piedmont Lodge No. 447, of the Masonic Order, and a Past Chancellor of Atlanta Lodge No. 20, of the Knights of Pythias. He is a member of St. Mark's Methodist Church, and is unmarried. STUART, Douglas, 1869 Lawyer. Final Tear, 1891; Law. Douglas Stuart, Lawyer, was born in Cumberland County, Virginia, May 1, 1869....
