Excerpt: The Hornet AS-6 is an air system semi and full-automatic Nerf blaster. It was released in 2004 under the N-Strike license. It was first released in the Unity Power System along with the Titan AS-V.1 and the Scout IX-3. The user loads a dart into each of its six barrels, then slides the top slide forward and back once to prime the blaster. After that, the user pumps the handle. They are then fired sequentially by repeatedly pulling the trigger or in one burst by pressing the large 'Blast Button'. The blaster accepts any kind of Micro Darts and features a "shots-remaining" indicator in the advancing slide. When fully pumped, the Hornet has great power, capable of shooting an outstanding fifty feet. Semi-automatic mode, however, shoots less than thirty feet.
