Distilled water...30 grms. ( i.) Dissolve. Several drops to be put into the eyes night and morning in catarrhal ophthalmia. Mixture to Remove Chorea (for Children.) Take of Ammoniuret of copper (ammoniacal) ..., _-. sulphate, of copper)..) 0,40 centigrms. (gr, vi.) Water.... 100 grms. Qui.) Simple syrup..40 grms. (31.) Laudanum of Sydenham.. 10 drops. Dissolve the salt in the water, and add the syrup and laudanum. Used in the treatment of St. Guy's (St. Vitus's) dance, (chorea). A tea-spoonful to be given to children 3 or 4 times a-day, and the dose to be gradually increased as the stomach is able to bear it, until the patient bears the whole quantity. To be continued as long as necessary. IRRITANTS FROM THE VEGETABLE KINGDOM. WHITE MUSTABJD. Take of White mustard seeds. 1 or 2 table-spoonsful. To be taken alone, or diffused through water. Used in constipation and imperfect digestion. ( .
