Extrait: Connection Timeout Roman Polanski (ne le 18 aout 1933 a Paris) est un realisateur de cinema, producteur et scenariste franco-polonais, egalement comedien, ainsi que metteur en scene de theatre et d'opera. Il a notamment realise Repulsion, Cul de sac, Le Bal des vampires, Rosemary's Baby, Chinatown, Le Locataire, Tess, Le Pianiste et plus recemment The Ghost Writer. Raymond Roman Liebling est ne le 18 aout 1933 a Paris, d'un pere peintre et juif polonais, Ryszard Liebling, et d'une mere d'origine russe, Katz Bula Liebling. Pour des raisons de prononciation, il se fait rapidement appeler Roman (ou Romek) Pola ski. Il vit en France jusqu'a l'age de quatre ans avant que sa famille ne reparte pour la Pologne. Il passe alors son enfance a Cracovie ou sa s ur Annette, nee d'une precedente union de sa mere, lui fait decouvrir le cinema. Apres l'invasion de l'ouest de la Pologne par les troupes allema...
