Extrait: Gedeo est un ancien awraja de la province du Sidamo, en Ethiopie. Sa capitale administrative etait Dila. En 1991, une partie des woreda Bule et Wonago ont ete incorporees a la region Oromiya et a l'actuelle zone Sidama (SNNPR). On retrouve aussi le terme "Darassa awraja" ou Darassa etait employe par l'administration pour designer les Gedeo.
