About the Book

This historic book may have numerous typos and missing text. Purchasers can download a free scanned copy of the original book (without typos) from the publisher. Not indexed. Not illustrated. 1835 Excerpt: ...et coria, ac alia pretacta, soluendo similiter custumam, et alia deneria in talibus consneta, apud eundem burgum de Hadyngton, et ibidem coketam suam capiendo. The magistrates did not object to the 800 subscription for building schools, but the subscribers quarrelled among themselves, and the subscriptions were withdrawn. As I hold the minute book as clerk to the subscribers, I send it herewith for your perusal, and will be obliged by your returning it. The best information I can give you respecting the duty charged on herrings exported is to refer to the Report o...
