Degnan (born 1960) is an American politician and the former mayor of Brewster, New York, a position which he held from 2005 to 2007. Prior to serving as mayor, Degnan served four terms as a village trustee. In 2008, he lost by a wide margin in a race for the New York State Assembly, and in 2007, he ran unsuccessfully for supervisor of Southeast, New York, though he came in a close second after a long and bitter race.
