Excerpt: PGP-RTB (Full Serbian name: Produkcija Gramofonskih Ploa Radio-Televizije Beograd) was a major record label and chain record store in the former SFR Yugoslavia based in Belgrade, Socialist Republic of Serbia. It was the music production branch of the national Radio-Television Belgrade. During the breakup of Yugoslavia the company changed its name to PGP-RTS (Produkcija Gramofonskih Ploa Radio-Televizije Srbije), which is the music production of branch of the Radio Television of Serbia. PGP-RTB was established in 1958. It is notable for signing numerous eminent former Yugoslav pop and rock artists. The label has among others, released albums by Alisa, Amajlija, Bajaga i Instruktori, ore Balaevi, Banana, Bezobrazno Zeleno, Bulevar, ista Proza, Disciplina Kime, Drugi Nain, Galija, Generacija 5, Gordi, Griva, Igra Staklenih Perli, Jakarta, Jugosloveni, Karizma, Kerber, Korni Grupa, La Strada, Laboratorija Zvuka, Laki Pingvini, Leb i Sol, Oktobar 1864, Osmi Putnik, Osvajai, Partibrejkers, Piloti, Pomarana, Porodina Manufaktura Crnog Hleba, Poslednja Igra Leptira, Propaganda, Rambo Amadeus, Rani Mraz, Riblja orba, Smak, Suncokret, Tako, Vampiri, Warriors, YU grupa, Zana and Zona B, as well as some albums by eminent classical musicians at that time, such as Milenko Stefanovi and Ernest Akun.
