The theatre is greatly improved, and the company, both before and behind the curtain, full and excellent. Besides some wonderful performances on the tight wire by Mr. Fox, and the equestrian exercises of young Saunders, the public are presented with the following new exhibitions: a dauce composed by Mr. Montgomery, called the Ton Yard; a grand military spectacle, the skilful contrivance of Mr. Cross, entitled buenas Ayres, or Love and Perfidy; and the Wishing Cap, an excellent pantomime. The dancing of Miss Johnson and Mr. Montgomery is very good. Mrs. Wybrow, Messrs. Bradbury, Dubois, and Montgomery, in the spectacle, performed with their usual powers. Mrs. Helme's Columbine in the pantomime was neat--but why should Mrs. Wybrow be spared?--She has bone enough to run two heats. The machinery and dresses have great merit; and under the management of Mr. Cross, so long tried and so invariably successful, the most promising prospect is opened to the concerns of this theatre, both with respect to public entertainment and private emolument. ROYAL AMPHITHEATRE. A most grand and splendid military spectacle, called the Brave Cossack, has been produced since our last. It is the invention of Mr. Astley, Junr. and does him infinite credit. The battle, in which the Cossack cavalry are introduced on real horses, is far superior to any exhibition of the kind, that we ever saw in England. The house is full every night.
